ALIMOSHO Local Government area of Lagos State, yesterday, received the Oxford AstraZeneca Covid Vaccine for frontline workers and community leaders.
The Supervisor for Health, Honourable Abolade Abdulrasheed, received the vaccine on behalf of the Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Honourable Jelili Sulaimon.
Hon Abolade said "residents should register for vaccination online via https://nphcdaict.com.ng/publicreg/"
He reiterated that the "vaccine is not for pregnant women and people under 18."
Hon. Abolade encouraged Alimosho residents to make use of this opportunity to vaccinate themselves.
He also reiterated that the vaccine is safe for human use.
