THE Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing the Alimosho Constituency II, Hon. Kehinde Olaide Joseph, in a remarkable display of inclusivity and commitment to empowering local entrepreneurs, has extended financial support to the Association of the Deaf in Egbe-Idimu Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
This financial intervention aims to energise the businesses of the association's members, unlocking their potential for economic growth and self-sufficiency. The initiative is the continuation of Hon. Joseph's ongoing empowerment programme after the N50 Million Naira MSMEs launched recently, which has already positively impacted numerous small business owners within his constituency.
By supporting entrepreneurs with disabilities, Hon. Joseph promotes inclusivity and equal access to economic opportunities. This proactive approach aligns with his broader vision for community development, emphasising socioeconomic empowerment and marginalised group support.
"Empowering entrepreneurs with disabilities creates a more inclusive society and I'm committed to ensuring equal access to resources for all, regardless of ability, to fostering economic growth, social equity, and inclusive empowerment", he stated.
The Association's President, Mr Adewole Adebowale, in his texts, expressed heartfelt gratitude, praising Hon. Joseph's transformative leadership and commitment to marginalised groups. "On behalf of my fellow members, we appreciate you for championing an all-inclusive empowerment. Remembering us in all you do solidifies your legacy as a champion of inclusivity and empowerment", he said.
