THE Executive Chairman of Egbe-Idimu LCDA, Hon. Kunle Sanyaolu Olowoopejo (KSO) recently presented the 2023 Budget tagged Budget of Continuity to the Legislative Council of the council, while also using the medium to canvass votes for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sanwo-Olu, his deputy, and all APC flagbearers in the Alimosho Local Government Area.
Information reaching Alimoshotoday states that KSO while dwelling on the budget performance of the year 2022, reeled out the landmark achievements recorded so far by his administration, while also promising to leverage all of these projects in order to take the council to greater and enviable heights. He also disclosed the effectiveness of the 2022 budget, stating that it was a success as he was able to improve the social, political, and economic lives of the good people of the Egbe-Idimu Local Council Development Area.
He then presented a budget of 2, 571,431,418.89 billion (Two Billion, Five Hundred and Seventy-one Million, Four Hundred and Thirty-One Thousand, Four Hundred and Eighteen naira, and Eighty-nine kobo only) to the Councillors for their perusals, considerations, and approval. Hon. Olowoopejo noted that emphasis and focus would be centred on Capital Expenditure as it carries a larger percentage so as to achieve a great Egbe-Idimu of our dream.
The Leader of the House, Hon. Rufai Lateef Abidemi, in his remarks, appreciated the chairman and everyone present for their support and cooperation; he then pledged on behalf of others that the budget would be given accelerated passage.
Witnessing the occasion was the Vice-Chairman, Hon. Adebiyi Mutiu, all Legislative and Executive members, the management staff, the APC LGA Party Chairman, Alhaji Akibu Saliu, (Bobo Party), and a host of other dignitaries.
