THE 19th edition of the Alimosho Man of the Year and Commendation Awards has been rescheduled to hold at a later date after the initial date failed, due to the enforcement of COVID-19 protocols in Lagos State.
The organisers said, "the much-awaited Historic Award Presentation now holds on Thursday, October 8, 2020, at same venue and time."
The annual award which is often sponsored by Dayo Osinowo Initiatives (DOSI) was initially slated for March 26 at 2.00 pm, but could not hold because of the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
The venue remains Comfort Grand Hotel and Suites at 12-14, Kokumo Street, Opposite Kokumo Primary Health Centre, Alimosho Bus Stop, Alimosho, Lagos.
Invited special guest of honour is the Hon. Uzamat Akinbile Yusuf who is the Honourable Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture.
UzamatAlso invited is Honourable Kehinde Joseph, member of the ninth Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Alimosho Constituency II who also doubles as the Chairman, Housing Committee on Agriculture.
