THE West African Examinations Council (WAEC), has begun its 2020 West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) today.
Recall that the examination was earlier scheduled for April but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic ravaging the nation.
The examination is taking place in all the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and a total of 1, 549,463 candidates, consisting of 786,421 males and 763,042 females from 19,129 schools are expected to write the examination.
