Medias College was founded by Engr. and Mrs E.O. with Mr Egunjobi as the Proprietor. The school derived her name 'MEDIAS' from the family's initials. Media's college officially began business for the first time on Monday 2nd September 1997 for the 1997/1998 academic session with only one student (Ifeanyi Mark) and five teaching staff. This number grew up to seven students at the end of the first day.
