Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, aka Yayi, the Senator representing Alimosho Local Government of Lagos West Senatorial District in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has sent a congratulatory message to Senator Oluremi Tinubu on her 60th birthday.
Yayi said: "Happy Diamond Jubilee to our mother, the highest-ranking female legislator in Nigeria. Congratulations, Most Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria."
Associating the people of Alimosho with his message, Yayi said in a congratulatory message in a poster on his twitter handle: " I, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola FCA and my wife, Temitope, on behalf of the leaders and good people of Lagos West Senatorial District, heartily rejoice with our mother, mentor, sister, disciplinarian and role model par excellence, Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu on the occasion of her Diamond Jubilee."
Yayi referred to Oluremi's life of service as the former first lady of Lagos State for eight years and the first and highest-ranking female Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, having won popular elections thrice.
Yayi said this is a testimony to her acknowledged status as a role model and mother to many young persons.
Yayi concluded with words of prayers as he said: " Our prayers and wishes for you at this stage of your life is for God Almighty to grant you long life in good health and Solomonic wisdom to fulfil your remaining goals in life and the continuation of your motherly roles and development of our dear nation."
