THE management of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, on Thursday, 1st of July, 2021, released the names of successful candidates for the 2019 recruitment exercise for Narcotic Officer Cadre and the list of the first batch for the Narcotic Assistant cadre.
Mr Femi Babafemi, the NDLEA’s Director for Media & Advocacy, implored the successful candidates to report for training at the NDLEA Academy, Jos on Saturday, 17th of July 2021.
The Director said the list of successful candidates for the Narcotic Officers’ cadre and the list of the first batch for the Narcotic Assistant cadre has been published on the agency’s website.
He added that candidates for both positions are to report to the academy with the following items:
a. Original and photocopy of credentials and the NDLEA online application reference slip.
b. Four copies of 5 x 7 coloured photographs without cap/hat.
c. Writing materials to include Biro, pencils, ruler, notebooks and file jacket.
d. Three pairs of white (unmarked) round neck vests and navy blue shorts (without stripes).
e. Two pairs of white and black socks.
f. Two pairs of pure black canvas trainers (rubber type NOT acceptable).
g. Two white bedsheets and pillowcases.
h. Two black trousers and white long sleeve shirts.
i. One blanket (grey or army green colour).
j. Two pairs of national dress or suit and casual wear with a pair of shoes.
k. Bucket, cutlasses and brooms to be purchased on arrival.
l. Some pocket money and toiletries.
m. Two black cloth face masks.
The agency also stated that all successful candidates must at all times observe the COVID-19 protocols and successful candidates, who fail to report to the academy by 6 pm on Tuesday, 20th of July, 2021 will be disqualified.
