NIGERIANS in the United States of America have lent their voice with that of Nigerian youths by also taking to the streets of America to protest against police brutality.
Recall that for more than two weeks, protesters across Nigeria have taken to the streets calling for an end to police brutality and the dissolution of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) police unit.
Also recall that President Muhammadu Buhari had dissolved the unit on October 11, 2020, and the Inspector General of Police announced the creation of a new unit, Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT), which the youths also rejected as the same old wine in new bottle.
The protesters in the USA displayed placards with inscriptions such as "A Generation Says; Off the Mic. A Generation Says; Soro Soke," "End the Bullshit", "ENDSARS" among others.
