REAL Madrid was left unhappy after they suffered a 3-2 away defeat to Rayo Vallecano, as their unbeaten run, unfortunately, came to an end.
Rayo came back from behind after initially taking the lead to secure a huge victory against the Los Blancos who have now dropped to second with 2 points behind Barcelona who won their match over the weekend.
Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, blamed a lack of determination for the loss.
"We lacked determination of the rival, lost individual duels, could not get our play going.
"We have played too many games, same as most teams, we’re not as fresh as we were, we lacked legs today," he said.
Real Madrid would be hoping not to extend the gap by taking down Cadiz on Thursday, November 10, 2022, before the World Cup break, while Barcelona would also want to keep the lead when they play Osasuna today, November 8, 2022.
