Olise rejects Premier League teams, picks Bayern Munich.

BAYERN Munich have completed the signing of Michael Olise from Crystal Palace for a reported €60 million fee despite interest from Premier League clubs.

The France u23 player was desired by several top Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Liverpool but he, however, opted for the record-making German giants.

Speaking after completing the move, Olise explained why he opted for Bayern, stating that the move was exactly what he sought at this stage of his career.

“The talks with FC Bayern were very positive, and I’m very happy to now be playing for such a big club,” Olise said at his unveiling.

“It's a great challenge, and that's exactly what I was looking for. I want to prove myself at this level and play my part in ensuring that we win as many titles as possible with our team in the coming years,” he added.

The player will be taking part in the Olympics as he was named in France's squad for the Olympics, and he is expected to be one of Thierry Henry’s key players during the competition.
