Lookman speaks on goalless draw with Arsenal

ATALANTA forward, Ademola Lookaman has reflected on the 0-0 draw against Arsenal yesterday in the UEFA Champions League competition.

The Italian club were held to a goalless draw by the North London club in the opening fixture as Ademola Lookman had difficulty slicing through the Arsenal defence.

Atalanta came close to finding an opener in the second half when they were awarded a penalty, but Mateo Retegui couldn’t convert the chance as he saw his penalty saved by David Raya.

Speaking after the match, Ademola said; “We had a plan and we were unfortunate not to score. We will take the positives out of it and move. It was kind of a chess match.

“Obviously, they are one of the top teams and we matched them tonight. We’ll take the draw. Onto the next.”

Both teams will return to their league games this season in which Arsenal will take a trip to Etihad Stadium to play Manchester City on Sunday while Atalanta host Como on Monday.
