REAL Madrid Manager, Carlo Ancelloti has opened up on the first two conversations he had with new signing, Kylian Mbappe.
The 25-year-old was officially confirmed as their new player by the La Liga giants last month, joining the club as a free agent after leaving Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
Ancelloti noted that his first conversation with the 2018 World Cup winner was a welcoming conversation and his second conversation was to grant the player permission to go on a vacation.
“Two things: First, I gave him a warm welcome, because the reception from Real Madrid and the fans was exceptional,” he said.
“Second, I told him to rest, to go on vacation because it’s a very long season for players,” he added.
Mbappe is expected to be available at the Super Cup final when Real Madrid plays Europa League winner, Atalanta on August 14, 2024.
