THE African Action Congress (AAC) of Omoyele Sowore has scheduled a sensitisation campaign for Alimosho Local Government, Lagos, AlimoshoToday has been informed.
The sensitisation is set to hold tomorrow, Saturday September 12, 2020.
The political party, which featured Yele Sowore as President in 2015 has, under the hash-tag Revolution Now led a protest to the Ponle Office of Ikeja Electric PLC over alleged blackout, excessive estimated bills and refusal to metre the residents of Egbeda.
The rendezvous for convergence will reportedly be at Egbeda Bus Stop, inside Olugbede Market.
The time of the conveyance is 11:00am.
The sensitisation is a build-up to the coming October 1st nationwide #Revolution Now street protests planned to hold this year.
According to sources, the sensitisation will lead to a protest demanding: "Right to cost of living allowance for unemployed youths, the aged and physically challenged."
The group is also saying " no to fuel price increase and electricity tariff."
They are advocating an end to insecurity, banditry and terrorism.
They equally want the government to "end poverty and inequality."
They are asking for "right to free, quality and compulsory education and healthcare."
They also want ₦100,000 cost of study for students.
They are also demanding the freedom of political prisoners such as Mubarak Bala, Dadiyatta, El Zakzaky and wife.
