AWARD-winning Nigeria singer, Asake has addressed questions about his choice of language in his songs.
The artist, who recently released his third album 'Lungu Boy,' which features Wizkid, Central Cee, Travis Scott, Stormzy, and Ludmilla explained why he prefers singing in Yoruba.
Speaking in an Instagram live session to interact with fans after the release of his third album, 'Lungu Boy' Asake, when asked why he's always singing in Yoruba said: “Not like I can't sing in English but I am more comfortable singing in Yoruba, so if you f**c with me, f**c with me in Yoruba."
Asake also revealed that he didn’t plan on featuring Wizkid in his song “MMS” as it was P.Prime who produced the song and played it for Wizkid who loved it and decided to drop a verse.
He also noted that he still has unreleased songs with Davido, which he intends to release at a later date.
