NIGERIAN artist and music queen, Temilade Openiyi, aka Tems, has revealed that she realised she was successful when American pop star, Rihanna DM’d her.
The Grammy award winner is taking over the music industry and to her, it took the message from another Grammy award-winning singer and billionaire, Rihanna, for her to realise she was successful.
She disclosed this while speaking with popular YouTuber, Korty EO.
The host asked: “At what point did you realise that you’ve become successful?”
To which she replied: “I knew I’d blown and gone far when I got a DM from Rihanna.”
Both Rihanna and Tems have worked on a song together as it was Tems who co-wrote Rihanna’s Black Panther 2 soundtrack, ‘Lift Me Up’ last year, also Rihanna in a red carpet event announced her desire to work with Tems and Ayra Starr on a song.
