OVER the past 24 hours, music fans have experienced mixed emotions as they watch two of Nigeria's biggest artists, Davido and Wizkid exchange words on social media.
It all started when Wizkid replied to a fan tweet on X asking him to drop a new song with a video of Davido on his knees crying and begging as he captioned that he should be begged like that before he releases any song.
This, as expected didn't sit well with Davido, who took to X to express his disgust at Wizkid while claiming that the Starboy's career is dead.
“That’s what I thought. Nothing to say. Exactly why I stopped wasting my clout and jeopardizing my millions of USD of endorsements on someone whose career was resurrected a few years ago just to die again. Next!” Davido tweeted.
The Grammy Award winner didn't let it slide as he gave Davido a response in which he noted that Davido was not on his level.
He wrote on X, “I got nun to say to u my boy! I can retire today and you still not on my level. You be influencer with a song writer. Wish u well.”
