Recently, it was reported that Alhaji Dare Ejigbadero, the son of the late Ejigbadero that was sentenced to death for killing late Mr. Raji Oba, went to the Alimosho Local Government office with his thugs to cause mayhem.
At the time of this incident, the Executive Chairman of Alimosho LGA, Hon. Jelili Sulaiman was having a peace and security meeting with some youths and elders in the conference hall.
According to an eyewitness, Ejigbadero who was clad in an all-white native attire with a cap to match, led the fully-armed hoodlums numbering about 50 into the council secretariat at about 2:14 pm on Thursday, November 5, 2020.
He claimed there were gunshots and destruction of properties, stones were thrown into the chairman’s office and all sliding windows came down smashed. He said some of the chairman's aides and visitors were wounded in the process, leaving the whole place in disarray, as both staff and visitors scamper for safety.
In another account, a witness claimed that vehicles were vandalised and people were injured during the pandemonium.
However, it was reported that the youths resisted them from gaining access to the chairman’s office. They called for reinforcement and chased the hoodlums out of the council premises.
