2020 Alimosho Festival: 'Asa Day' holds Dec 16

The much anticipated Asa Day will hold December 16, amidst several cultural displays at Abesan Mini Stadium from 10:00am.

Asa Day is one of the activities lined up for Alimosho Festival 2020, put together by Okun Alimosho to celebrate culture in Alimosho and to explore the uniqueness of all Kingdoms in Alimosho, projecting them via mainstream media, simultaneously creating a wholesome tourism experience as well as business and investment opportunities, as encompassed in one of the Lagos State T.H.E.M.E.S agenda - entertainment and tourism.

AlimoshoToday had earlier reported that the Lagos State Government has endorsed the Alimosho festival  and that Honourable Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs Uzamat Akinbile-Yussuf Moremi has agreed to be the Iya of Asa Day.

Following the endorsement of the festival by the Alajasa of Ajasa, HRM Oba Sule Suberu Odualabe; Oba of Shashaland, HRM Oba Babatunde Ogunrombi Nosiru Lawal; the Oba Igando of Igando land, HRM Oba Lasisi Gbadamosi; The Baale of Orisunbare, Chief Akeeb Raufu Adebowale and several others, the Asa Day will have in attendance several royal fathers and ancestral emblem.

Admission into the venue is via Ankara or T-Shirts.
