Hon. Kehinde Joseph hosts constituency stakeholders meeting, empowers 50 people

 
Alimosho residents were, on Thursday,  thrilled to a Constituency Stakeholders Meeting at the Registry Complex 02 of the Egbe-Idimu LCDA, hosted by the the Lagos State House of Assembly Member representing Alimosho Constituency 02, Hon. Kehinde Joseph, popularly called K.J.
 
Comrade Eniola Badmos Oseni, Special Assistant to the Igando-Ikotun LCDA, revealed this in a statement yesterday.
 
The meeting was gracefully attended by community residents, leaders, businessmen/women, traders, diplomats, religious bodies, traditional rulers, security agencies, stakeholders and representatives from the Lagos House of Assembly.
 
The event, which held simultaneously in all the 40 constituencies of Lagos State, took place at Egbe-Idimu LCDA Multipurpose Hall and Registry.
 
Various issues of concern were raised by the attendees, including the #EndSARS protest, while the attention of the State Government was also drawn to the state of the roads in both Igando-Ikotun and Egbe-Idimu LCDAs, which are in a very bad and terrible condition. 
 
 
Hon. Joseph then gave out the sum of ₦5 million, meant for 50 people for empowerment and each person received ₦100,000.
 
The N100, 000 cash being disbursed to the beneficiaries on the spot 
 
 
The beneficiaries, drawn from the two local governments  of Igando-Ikotun and Egbe-Idimu LCDAs, received ₦100,000 each.
 
The money was disbursed immediately.
 
Many people who spoke at the meeting commended Hon.  Joseph for helping youths with employment and attracting projects to the constituency.
 
They, however, urged him not to relent as some of the areas in the constituency still need to be touched.
 
The Igbos in the area also thanked the lawmaker for constantly assisting them and ensuring they live in peace with their host communities. They also dissociated themselves from Nnamdi Kanu of the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB) and his agitation for break-up.
