IKOTUN residents in Egbe-Idimu Local Council Development Area of Alimosho Local Government are set to put Ikotun and its environs on hold, in their bid to join millions of youths protesting nationwide against police brutality.
The protest at Ikotun will hold Saturday morning by 10:00am at BRT lane, Ikotun Roundabout.
At the moment, ₦45,000 has been received by the Feminist Coalition electronically from donors to help support the protesters and more donations are still coming.
Meanwhile, the protest entered Day 10 on Friday, constraining the Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo to come out and apologise to the enraged youths and Nigerian citizens over the shortcomings of officials of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
