THE Mayor of the Egbe-Idimu LCDA, Hon. Kunle Sanyaolu Olowoopejo (KSO) on Monday played host to the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) team led by Justice Bola Okikiolu Ighile Rtd. at the Council Secretariat, Isheri Olofin, Lagos.
In her remarks, she appreciated the Council Helmsman for his trademark achievements and the infrastructural developments the residents of Egbe-Idimu have been enjoying for years while also informing him of the preparation ahead of the forthcoming Local Government elections scheduled to come up later this year.
She then added that the assessment working tour became imperative at this point to draw the attention of council Chairmen to the LASIEC calendar.
In his response, the Executive Chairman thanked the Commission for the visit while assuring them of his continuous support by providing offices to be used under a conducive atmosphere for officials of LASIEC to enhance their operations.
Also, the team with the Commission Chairman includes her Commissioners; Mr Samson Ajibade, Chief Akin Durojaiye Oluwo, Mr Olumide Olusola Metilelu, Mr Abeeb Dapo Aileru, and Hon. Oladele Adekanye.
Receiving the LASIEC team with the Council Mayor were the Council Manager, Mrs Folake Ajayi and the LCDA Electoral Officer, Mrs Saanu O.E.
