He said the tireless efforts of the fourth Legislative Arm of the Council to put this together are commendable. He also mentioned that after a series of stakeholders' meetings to digest the contents, the bye-laws went through first and second readings and was then forwarded to the Council boss for his assent.

Hon. Sanyaolu urged the magistrates to be fair, firm and courageous to ensure equitable dispensation and efficient administration of justice in the local government as the law is now binding on all the residents and business owners in Egbe-Idimu LCDA.

The Executive Chairman added: "In the same vein, the first ever Customary Court in Egbe Idimu LCDA is now ready for use as all the things needed for smooth operation are already in place."

The council boss then urged the residents to be law-abiding and adhere strictly to all government directives, as this can only be the best way to support the present administration.
