THE Executive Chairman of the Iba LCDA, Hon. Yisa Abiola Jubril (ABILA), has rolled out another phase of food palliatives to members of the LCDA in an ongoing effort to cushion the effect of removal of fuel subsidy in the country.
The beneficiaries of the palliative were drawn from every part of the Local Government, going through all zones and communities.
The food palliative package includes food items like rice, beans, pepper, groundnut oil, spices, and garri in a well-packaged sack.
Before the distribution, the Council Chairman had earlier urged the Councillors and Executive Cabinet Members to reach out to their various communities on modalities of the distribution, as he had put them all in charge of their various ward and communities, with a note of carrying everyone along without any sentiment whatsoever.
As the event unfolded, a report from Constituents has it that the palliatives were sufficient for everyone present at the distribution point, and lots of Constituents were glad to receive the government gesture.
On this note, the Council Boss reassured the entire Constituents that he would continue to keep up with his promises by prioritising the welfare of the Iba LCDA people.
