Ejigbo DPO appointed PRO of police trust fund

CSP Okuwobi Oluseyi Olabisi has been appointed by the Police High Command as the Public Relations Officer (PRO) to the Nigeria Police Trust Fund (NPTF).

Suleiman Abba, the Chairman of NPTF Board of Trustees, made the announcement in a statement on Monday. Abba, a retired Inspector General, said Okuwobi would create public awareness about the fund’s mandate and build a sustainable relationship with the public.

Until the appointment, she was the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of the Ejigbo Police Division, Lagos. Okwuwobi is loved by residents of Ejigbo and its environs.

Her ingenuity and partnership with residents attracted a befitting edifice for the division, which was launched recently by the Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu.

Okuwobi served in Delta, Benue, Oyo, and Lagos states at different times. The officer was PRO of the Nigeria Police Cooperative and Multipurpose Society Limited, Lagos.

Okuwobi also served as a Public Information Officer (PIO) to the United Nations Police (UNPOL). UNPOL is under the United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL).
