1.    LAWMA’S MOBILE CAMPAIGN MOVES TO DOPEMU-IYANA IPAJA


In continuation of its State-wide campaign for environmental cleanliness, the Lagos Waste Management Authority, LAWMA, has taken its motorised advocacy campaign, tagged “War on Waste” to the Dopemu-Iyana Ipaja axis, primarily to inspire attitude change among the residents. The campaign theme was a determined move to tackle the menace of indiscriminate dumping, non-patronage of PSP operators, and improper waste containerisation prevalent in the State.

2.  COURT STRIKES OUT CHARGES AGAINST 119 #ENDBADGOVERNANCE PROTESTERS


The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has struck out the charges brought against a total of 119 #EndBadGovernance protesters. According to media reports, all 119 protesters were arraigned on Friday, November 1 on charges bordering on treason felony, inciting to mutiny, among others.

3.   LASG DIVERTS TRAFFIC FOR 15 MONTHS AT MILE 2


The Lagos State Government has announced that traffic will be diverted at Loop 1 on the Apapa bound lane and Loop 4 on the Badagry bound lane at Mile 2 for 15 months. Motorists have been advised to cooperate with the interventions put in place to minimise inconveniences.

4.  AYUBA EMPOWERS OVER ALIMOSHO 500 CONSTITUENTS


Over 500 residents of the Alimosho Federal Constituency have benefitted from the empowerment programme of Hon. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba, a Member of the House of Representatives representing the Alimosho Federal Constituency in the 10th National Assembly.
