THE Member representing Alimosho State Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Luqman Olatunji Orelope, has distributed food items and cash to constituents and politicians across his constituency in a bid to empower the community during the Yuletide season.
Information reaching Alimoshotoday stated that the food items and cash donations were shared with traditional institutions, security agencies, politicians, and non-politicians within the constituency.
During the presentation, Orelope said: “It is to the glory of God that we are witnessing yet another season of Christmas celebration, and all adoration should be given to His holy name. To ensure a joyful celebration for the good people of my constituents, irrespective of religious bias and political caucuses, myself and my team have come up with a plan to send our widow's mite to the good people of Alimosho in the form of cash and food items as ‘Christmas package’ from me to them.
“As your representative, my door is open to all, and I shall run an inclusive representation and accommodate all interests.
“I am the representative of all residents and citizens of Alimosho State Constituency I, hence nobody will be left behind.”
Orelope then promised to keep doing his best to ensure that the residents of the Constituency continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy.
