Senator Yayi organises ICT training for graduates in Alimosho and Lagos West Senatorial District

SENATOR Adeola Solomon Olamilekan (Yayi), in collaboration with Engineering Materials Development Institute, Akure is set to facilitate an Information Communication Technology (ICT) training and certification for graduates in Lagos West Senatorial District, Lagos State, Alimosho inclusive. 

An online article signed by the Senator reiterates that 1000 graduates will be trained and certified in various ICT programmes like Microsoft, Adobe, and Certiport with applications in Data Analytics, Cloud Storage, Visual Content, Digital Marketing, Data Analysis, and Calculations.

Some areas of training and certification include; Power BI Microsoft Data Analytics; Azure Microsoft Cloud Storage; Graphics Design, Adobe Visual Content (Brand Design); Digital Marketing, Being Cert Digital Marketing; Basic & Advanced Excel Certiport Data Analysis and Calculations.

The training is open to residents of Lagos West Senatorial District irrespective of tribe, gender, and political affiliation of not more than 35 years of age as of December 31, 2022, with a Minimum Qualification of OND.

Some benefits of the training include; 
i. Participants will be given world-class ICT skills that can help them become self-reliance and completely financial independent
ii. Participants will be awarded 2 certificates, one from the training institute and the other will be an internationally recognized certificate from the respective awarding body or institution.

iii. Participants will have the opportunity to network with other high-tech persons in the industry
iv. Successful participants will be given brand-new laptops.

Also, participants will not be randomly selected but will be asked to write a general knowledge test and only participants with a 70% pass or success rate will be shortlisted.
