THE Sarki Overall of Alimosho Local Government and Chairman of the Chieftaincy Council of Arewa Community, Alimosho, Alhaji Haruna Kuraja, has marked his four years on the throne.
Sarki also used the occasion to thank the Arewa community for their support in making his ongoing tenure a successful one.
In a statement personally signed by the Sarki Overall, he said: "It's four years down the line as I gracefully mark my fourth anniversary as Sarki Overall of Alimosho and Chairman of the Chieftaincy Council of Arewa community in Alimosho local government.
"I, Alhaji Ahmed Haruna Kuraja (HRH), seize this moment to thank Allah for his mercies, grace, protection and privileges.
"I also seize this moment to thank the Assembly of Sarkis in the Chieftaincy Council of Arewa Community, Alimosho, our other memberships, and the entire Arewa community for their support and cooperation, prayers and well wishes.
"And lastly, I sincerely appreciate the Council of Obas and Chiefs Lagos State, Alimosho Local Government wing, for their inclusiveness extended to the Arewas, without which there wouldn't have been us."
