THE Member of the House of Representatives representing the Alimosho Federal Constituency, Hon. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba, held a strategic meeting with the leaders of the South-South People's United Forum in the Constituency at his Constituency office on Sunday, December 29, 2024.
Speaking on behalf of the Group, the Chairman of the South-South Group in Lagos State, Chief Vincent O. Ahwi, who is a resident in the Alimosho Federal Constituency, appreciated the legislator for fulfilling his campaign promises to the people, despite the limited resources available at his disposal. He also appreciated him for complementing the good efforts of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the all-inclusive administration of the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.
He further appreciated the properly documented account of the stewardship of one year in office of the Member of the House of Representatives.
The Coordinator of the Group in the Mosan-Okunola LCDA of the Constituency, Elder Victor Ibhaze, also spoke, appreciating the lawmaker's efforts in ameliorating the people's needs.
The Lagos Senatorial Women Leader of the South-South Group, Mrs Stella Stephens, appreciated the Honourable Ayuba, saying he should continue to include the group in his programme.
In his response, Hon. Ayuba called for patience and support for President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration, noting that the economy is gradually improving with various initiatives and meaningful strides.
He said his programmes since he resumed office as the representative of the people in the Green Chamber of the National Assembly have positively impacted the aged, women, and youths, irrespective of religion or ethnicity. He once again promised to bring more dividends of democracy to the people.
The Group presented a photographic portrait as a gift to the Member of the House of Representatives in the Alimosho Federal Constituency.
