THE Member of the House of Representatives in Alimosho Federal Constituency, Hon. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba (Mayor K.K.), has congratulated teachers in Alimosho Federal Constituency and all over the world as they celebrate the Year 2023 World Teachers' Day.
In a statement today, Thursday, October 5, 2023, the Vice-Chairman of the House Committee on Interior said: "Today is a special day on which the world gives special recognition to teachers for their unique services.
"It gives me great pleasure to celebrate with teachers in Nigeria and particularly in Alimosho Federal Constituency as they join their counterparts all over the world to mark World Teachers’ Day 2023.
"Teachers are the basis from which children, as future leaders, get their inspiration as they grow up. Your tireless efforts, patience, and enormous contributions are critical to human capacity development and nation-building.
"Teachers should be given special priority in society as they build knowledge and character, play a critical role in our lives, and develop generations of leaders from all walks of life.
"May all teachers always find joy and fulfilment in the noble profession of teaching. God bless our teachers."
