#Revolution Now held a grassroot sensitisation in Alimosho yesterday, imploring people to join them for the October 1 National Protest.
The rendezvous for convergence was Egbeda Bus Stop, inside Olugbede Market, at 11:00 am, before they took to the markets and streets of Alimosho Local Government to sensitise people.
The sensitisation is a build-up to the coming October 1 nationwide #RevolutionNow street protests planned to hold this year.
In a social media post, a Twitter user named EMPRESSNI1 said:
"The Future is Now. Join us on OCT 1st to protest against oppression. Let's speak out against the incompetencies and oppression from the Nigeria Government. Our Children future are @ stake."
Earlier, AlimoshoToday had reported that sources claimed the sensitisation will lead to a protest demanding:
"Right to cost of living allowance for unemployed youths, the aged and physically challenged", " no to fuel price increase and electricity tariff", "end poverty and inequality" and "right to free, quality and compulsory education and healthcare" amidst others.
