Moremi Youth Development Project, in conjunction with the Alimosho Local Government, has hosted a "Make a Child Smile" and "Clean Up Project" in the Alimosho local council of Lagos State.
The Moremi Youth Development Project (MYDP) is a youth-oriented programme designed to instill values and virtues of leadership, citizenship and volunteerism in young people of Alimosho.
The project included the distribution of school palliatives and clean-up of the community.
According to the group: " This is a singular or collective decision of a faction of people to be the change they want to see in society.
"Our back-to-school palliative is aimed at ensuring that deserving students are provided with the basic post-COVID-19 school needs, to allow for proper adjustment in school, while the "Clean Alimosho" project is targeted at ensuring a clean, safe and healthier Alimosho."
