THE Presidential Steering Committee, Federal Ministry of Health, and the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) have approved the administration of booster doses for persons who have taken their first two vaccination doses.
The Pfizer Bio-N-Tech and Moderna (mRNA) vaccines will serve as booster doses. These booster injections will be given to persons who have been vaccinated twice with any type of the vaccines available or once with the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
Boosters can be administered within the time interval six months after the last vaccine administration.
Lagos residents across all LCDAs above the age of 18 are advised to take advantage of the booster dose.
