CHIEF Jamiu Tadeyo (De Royal) has been appointed as the Akeweje 1 of Alimosho Kingdom on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at the Lion Field, Alimosho.
According to a social media post by the Media Aide to Hon. Adebanjo, Reformer Olusegun Damilare-Ojo Olohunlugo, Chief Jamiu was crowned during the one year coronation anniversary of High Chief Jamiu Aremu Babalola Ogunbowale, the Baale of Alimosho Kingdom.
During the installation ceremony, the newly installed chief was admonished to continue being dedicated to the development of the Alimosho youth.
The chieftaincy committee also prayed that the reign of the new Akeweje will bring peace and development to Alimosho community.
Dignitaries present at the event include; the Honourable Member, House of Representatives, Hon. Olufemi Bandele Adebanjo; alongside Apex Leaders in Alimosho; Hon. Abdullahi Ayinde Enilolobo, Apex Leader Alimosho Federal Constituency; Hon. Jimoh Ajao, Apex Leader Igando-Ikotun LCDA; the All Progressives Congress (APC) Vice Chairman Lagos West Senatorial District, Chief Sunday Babatunde Aboyade; Hon. Jelili Sulaimon, Chairman Alimosho LGA.
Others include; Hon. Lasisi Ayinde Akinsanya, Chairman Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Hon. Kunle Sanyaolu Olowoopejo, Chairman Egbe-Idimu LCDA, and other APC party faithful.
