THE Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Interior and the member representing the Alimosho Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber of the National Assembly, Hon. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba (Mayor K.K.), hosted the executives of the Ndigbo socio-political group in Alimosho at his Constituency office on Saturday, August 31, 2024.
In his address, Ayuba thanked the group for their presence and support in the last general election. He further stressed the progress of the party as his top priority and keyed into the Renewed Hope agenda of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
"At this stage of our nation, we must set aside sentiments for the collective prosperity of our dear country, Nigeria," he posited.
The seasoned administrator admonished the Igbo business elites in the All Progressives Congress, APC, to key into the progressive principles and ideology devoid of tribal sentiments and bigotry.
"Our founding fathers built Nigeria on a progressive path to achieve a more prosperous nation that will give hope to all and sundry. This belief is what the Asiwaju Agenda for a Better Nigeria stands for," he added.
The group, led by Hon. Onyeka, expressed their readiness to further renew their support and loyalty to the party and promised the lawmaker their unwavering support and commitment to his pro-active impacts in his Constituency.
