In a significant initiative aimed at enhancing educational opportunities, Hon. Princess Olabisi Adebajo, the Executive Chairman of the Mosan-Okunola Local Council Development Area, presented free General Certificate Examination (GCE) forms to indigent students on Monday, September 23, 2024, reinforcing the community’s commitment to educational advancement.

2.  TINUBU ORDERS CRACKDOWN ON ‘YAHOO BOYS’, OTHER CYBER CRIMINALS5344r
President Bola Tinubu on Sunday directed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, the Nigeria Customs Service, the Nigeria Police Force, the Nigerian Ports Authority and other security and law enforcement agencies to intensify efforts in cracking down on individuals in possession of and trafficking in stolen vehicles. He affirmed that his administration remains committed to tackling money laundering, cybercrime, and other financial crimes.

3.  NECO RELEASES 2024 INTERNAL EXAMINATION RESULTS234g
The National Examinations Council, NECO, has released the 2024 Senior Secondary Certificate Examination internal results. The Registrar said 1,376,423 candidates registered for the examination and only 1,367,736 sat for it.

4.  FG DISTANCES SELF FROM NNPCL,  DANGOTE REFINERY CLASH OVER PETROL PRICE238m
The Federal Government of Nigeria, under the leadership of President Tinubu, has distanced itself from the ongoing controversy between the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) and Dangote Refinery over petrol pricing. President Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, clarified that since the petroleum market has been deregulated, both Dangote and NNPCL, as oil refiners and marketers, are free to set their market prices.
