THE Alimosho Youths Make a Movie project being driven by AlimoshoToday.com is gradually coming alive now as the project initiators are calling for script ideas.

Recall that on May 24, 2021, the Alimosho Youths Make a Movie project was officially announced to the Alimosho community here, and community youths were informed to indicate their area of participation.

Making a movie starts with a story idea and AlimoshoToday.com is now calling on talented community youth to submit story ideas in a competition.

Dupe Akinola, the Publisher of AlimoshoToday.com said, "Making a movie starts with a story. The story is then developed into a script. The script is passed on to a movie director who now calls for the movie cast through audition. So we decide to make it a kind of competition to get a suitable story for the movie".

Akinola added that anyone can think through a story idea. "You don't need any technicalities to submit a story idea; that is the task of a scriptwriter who will develop the winner's rough story into a movie script", he said.

Explaining how a story idea should be submitted, he said: "Participant should develop a synopsis of their story idea in about 200 words, give the story a title, put your name and phone number on the write-up, then submit via email to [email protected] on or before the 31st of July.

The participant with the best storylines gets a N20,000 price and when the movie is made, he or she will get credit for it in the movie".
