THE Yusuf Olatunji Oladipipo Olaseni Campaign Organization has commiserated with the families of those who lost their lives and those who suffered various degrees of injuries during the post-primary election violence that erupted at the Igando-Ikotun LCDA secretariat after the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries held on Friday, May 27, 2022.
A statement made available for publication by the organization on Saturday, May 28, 2022, reads; “To those who suffered attacks on their vehicles and persons in the aftermath of the postponement of APC primaries on Thursday, May 26, 2022, we feel your pains and we pray for relieve.
“As a subscriber to the ethos of liberal and progressive democrats, we strongly condemn the complimentary violence, consequent losses of precious lives and valuables in the processes of politics and contests for public service.
“However, the organization is studying the situation and we will relate our position after due consultations with relevant organs of the party.
