THE All Progressives Congress (APC) party Vice-Chairman, Lagos West Senatorial District, Chief Babatunde Aboyade, has congratulated the former Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and an indigene of the Alimosho LGA, Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, on bagging a United Nations SDGs Champion Award.
There is no number of words enough to describe the glory our paragon in Alimosho, Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, is bringing to the constituency.
In his felicitation message on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, Aboyade said: “As a former Senior Special Adviser to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), your fantastic performance brought a national award, national productivity award, among several other prestigious awards.
“As a golden fish with no hiding place, the international community also today (yesterday) recognised your numerous contributions to the development of the nation by bestowing the SDGs Champion Award upon you.
“To receive an award from the United Nations is no mean feat, and we are very proud of you. We are indeed lucky to have you, and we are proud of you.
“Your contributions to the development of Nigeria and your constituency will forever be remembered; you have indeed carved your name in stone in the history of Alimosho Federal Constituency. You have placed Lagos State and Alimosho on the world map and made the constituency a cynosure of all eyes, and we are grateful to God for having you.
“As you continue your quest to continue contributing your quota to the development of our dear country, I pray that may Almighty Allah removes all stumbling blocks in your way.

The former SSA was conferred with the award on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at the UN House, 617/618 Diplomatic Drive, CBD, Abuja, for her excellent performance during her tenure as the SSA on SDGs.
