THE Executive Chairman of the Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. David Oladapo Famuyiwa has celebrated with the labour force of the council area as they celebrate the Year 2024 International Worker’s Day even as he welcomed the council residents into the new month of May.
The council Boss May Day message read: “It is the first day in the month of May and it coincides with the celebration of workers across the nation. On this beautiful day, it gives me great delight to salute our dear workforce that moves the wheel of society. Indeed, workers are the engineroom of the world's economy.
“My dear Agbado Oke-Odo staff, I sincerely appreciate your immense contributions and support over the years. Despite the economic challenges, you have remained resolute in working tirelessly with hard work, dedication, and commitment to the growth and development of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Lagos State, and even Nigeria as a whole.
“Be rest assured that your sacrifices and labour of love are not in vain. Stay hopeful for the great things that lie ahead. Your yearnings and aspirations are valid and will definitely be sustained.
“Happy Workers' Day to you all. May you flourish in all you do and may your sweat not run dry before you reap the fruits of your labour.”
