Agbado Oke-Odo Ward F Councillor constructs culvert at Olo Osunlana Drive/Akinade Street

It's worthy of note that the box culvert is highly essential to ease passage and decongest the renowned traffic jams at Merit Junction known for frustrating the commuters plying the old Ota Road from Joke Ayo.

THE Ward F Councillor in the Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. Kayode Obaleye has commenced the construction of a culvert at Olo Osunlana Drive/Akinade Street to attend to the pressing problems confronting the community, especially with the consideration of the recent torrential downpour that caused ravaging floods within the neighbourhood.

A statement made available for publication by the Councillor read: “Dear constituents, we are all aware of many issues within our immediate communities, part of which includes impassable roads caused by heavy rainstorms as earlier stated, but, it should be noted that we will be addressing the needs as the situation demands

“It's worthy of note that the box culvert is highly essential to ease passage and decongest the renowned traffic jams at Merit Junction known for frustrating the commuters plying the old Ota Road from Joke Ayo, this is also to enhance the hitch-free linking of Ibari road to Akinade street by commuters willing to branch at Akinade via Olo Osunlana and navigate through Ibari road.

“I, Hon. Kayode Obaleye, Councillor representing Ward F,  Agbado Oke-odo LCDA am in the know of our needs, it's a promise I have made to represent well and bring back the dividends of democracy to the good people of our dear constituency, I'm here to inform you that the said culvert will be delivered within the space of three weeks as agreed with the contractor.”
