JEHOVAH'S Witnesses in Alimosho, other areas of Lagos and the globe will on Saturday, March 11, 2023, begin a three-week campaign to invite their friends and neighbours to the 2023 Memorial observance of Jesus' death.

Once each year, Jehovah’s Witnesses in keeping with the admonition in Luke 22:19, commemorate the death of Jesus just as he commanded.

This happens to be the most important event of the Christian religious group, as in 2022, 741,933 people attended in Nigeria alone and 19,721,672 across the world, more than two times the number of Witnesses.

A special talk titled, "You can face the future with endurance" will be given on Sunday, April 2, 2023. It will discuss how one can be more confident about the future if one builds a friendship with Jehovah God—a friendship that Jesus's death made possible.

The Memorial will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, after sundown and will be held at about the same time at all Kingdom Halls of Jehovah's Witnesses and meeting points globally.

The main feature of the Memorial is a talk about the importance of Jesus's death and how one can benefit from what God and Christ have done for us. This event is free of charge and will run for about an hour.

To find a Kingdom Hall near you, you can accept an invitation from one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
